Korean expressions about weather

날씨 weather

• subject markers 이 (used after consonants) and 가 (used after vowels) are used in the            weather expressing sentences.

1) 날씨가 추워요. The weather is cold.

날씨 weather, 춥다 to be cold -> 추워요

2) 날씨가 더워요. The weather is hot.

덥다 to be hot -> 더워요

3) 눈이 와요. It snows.

눈 snow, 오다 to come -> 와요

4) 비가 와요. It rains.

비 rain, 오다 to come -> 와요

5) 날씨가 좋아요. The weather is good.

좋다 to be good -> 좋아요
