서 "because" or "so"

 conjugated stem + 서  : because (or) so

 example sentences)

1. 피곤해서 자고 싶어요.  I want to sleep because I am tired. (or) I am tired so I want to sleep.

2.  배고파서 먹었어요.  I ate it because I am hungry. (or) I am hungry so I ate it.

3.  만나서 기뻐요.  I am glad because I met you. (or) I met you so I am glad. 

4.  일이 많아서 바빠요.  I am busy because there is a lot of work. (or) There is a lot of work so I am busy.

5.  많이 먹어서 배불러요.  I am full because I ate a lot. (or) I ate a lot so I am full.
