Korean possessive pronoun marker: 의 것
If you add 의 것(것means “thing/stuff” so, for instance, 저의 것 = my thing) to a subject (regardless of the consonant or vowel ending), the phrase changes to take on the possessive pronoun form.
Exercise 1) Add the possessive pronoun maker 의 것 after the subject pronouns, regardless of the consonant or vowel ending subject pronouns in the table below.

- 저의 can be shortened to 제. (meaning “my”)

- Since we don’t take into account plural and singular forms:
- The demonstrative pronoun 그 means “the”
- The demonstrative pronoun이 means both “this” and “these”.
- The demonstrative pronoun저 means both “that” and “those”.

A. 그 꽃은 제 것이에요. The flower is mine.
2) Q. 이 가방은 누구의 것이에요? Whose is this bag?
A. 이 가방은 그녀의 것이에요. This bag is hers.

A. 저 집은 그들의 것이에요. That house is theirs.
